Derrick car isn't quite done yet, but I just got back from the greenberg show in edison nj.I got this.
The 812 gondola car. I looked for the parts I needed to complete the Derrick, but I only found the latch couplers. It still needs the hook, the string, and the control shaft for the drum. It broke trying to straighten it, bummer.
Another project done with off the shelf paints. The Hellgate in the background is not a repaint. You can see how well the colors worked.

its done. Thanks to jeff at train tender for the hook and string. They are the last pieces i needed for completion.
