#831 blue comet tender electronics

I was thinking of building my own tender for this engine and was wondering if buying just the IR receiver , RS 4.0 board,and the speaker and mount is all I need or do I have to get additional parts for the electronics to work properly I have extra tenders paint and time

Well, you'll need the motherboard, the two RailSounds boards, the IR receiver and the associated board, and the speaker of course.

The best way to do this is find a similar tender that has a parts list and see what all you need.
