Eddie, maybe by going to the York Meet we can get some nice weather. Hope so after this winter.
Only three weeks now and we are sure looking forward to this.

We're due, as the last two or three meets, it rained at least one day or more.
Don
Getting psyched......I am working this weekend.....thinking about York will help me get through it!
Peter
And the weather looks like it's going to improve quite nicely.
In another 4 days we can get the 10 day weather forecast.
I didn't want to take any chances, I took a cortisone shots in both knees last night...I will be ready

EDDIE don't trust the weather reports for YORK.

See you there!!!!!!!

That's impressive when you time your shots to coincide with York.
Looking forward to my first visit back to York in 15 years
The weather at York is starting to worry me a little. This week in Maine it's only going to be in the 30's & 40's with possible snow. I sure hope it will be warmer in PA.
Why haven't you been to York in 15 years? You are not very far away.
More than likely the same reason I haven't been back in 11 years. Family, kids college bills, etc, etc, etc
Thanks for the update. As for the weather, well it is. There's a bunch of stuff going on between now and then. Hope to see you at the breakfast on Thursday morning.

Early forecast calls for 65 on Thursday, 70 on Friday, and 75 on Saturday with no rain. This could change, but I'm optimistic.
Don
Regretfully, neither the Ready to Roll booth nor myself will be at York.
Superwarp1 -- exactly. College Educations, weddings, births, deaths, elderly parents, international travel for work, etc.. you name it and the priority was elsewhere.
Yep about 2 hours away - this year the schedule is clear
1-3" of snow expected tonight. Will this winter ever end.

Eddie,
You live too far north. You may have to leave for York this weekend to make sure you don't get snowed in and miss the Meet.

Snowing here already in northern VT.
York will be warmer than here, no question.
Nevertheless - bring thick warm socks.
In April, especially on a late season like this, the concrete floors in the halls can be bone-chilling cold after a few hours.
The extended weather forecast has changed for York, with lows in the upper 30's, and highs in the mid 60's. Hopefully, that will change again.
Don
Regardless of the weather I can't wait!

84 degrees here in Alabama today. No sign of winter here.

Even that would work for me, as long as it doesn't get any colder...or snow!
Well, it's still winter here. 4 inches of Snow yesterday & 40 degrees today, but I expect it will change here on Sunday. The temp is supposed to be around 60. When I see it, I will believe it.
One thing for sure, it'll be dry and comfortable in all of the halls with so many trains and lots of friends!

I was down in the Lancaster area today, and it was supposed to be 72 degrees; iy never got out of the forties. It's got to warm up sooner or later.
Don
One week from today we will be on our way.
I can taste it!

Eddie,
Don't bring any snow down with you. If there is any on the car, brush it off before you leave.
Don
After being diagnosed with prostate cancer and all the testing (confined to prostate) I sooooo need a York before surgery and treatment in May. See you all there!!!!!!
Don, look forward to seeing you there. Many of us have gone through this surgery and please consider it a good thing that you have been diagnosed early when treatment is very effective. God bless you with your upcoming surgery.
4 day's to go.
We just got back from a 10 day river cruise in the Netherlands. It was very nice, but now I'm finally looking forward to York. My wife asked me how I could do so much walking at York, when 4 hours of walking on the trip had me limping. I reminded her that the York halls were not paved in cobblestones, nor did I have to keep up with a tour guide.
CAN'T WAIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can taste it!
Peter
Scrapple?
It's like waiting for the drop of the puck, the kickoff, the jump ball and the first pitch all wrapped up in one!!
Ring the bell, I'm ready!!!
Pardon me if it's been covered elsewhere, but will there be an operating layout this time?
I wish that I could answer that Q for you. I have no idea. I don't go to look at layouts.

If you missed National Capital Trackers a couple of shows ago, you missed a real treat. And the group from Switzerland a couple of years ago was also impressive.
