Was shoping for the 990 system and some were early model, didn't known if they were updated. End up ordering one fromCharles ro. Is there any way to tell if it the new version. Pete

When you boot them up it will show the version of software is the CAB2 screen. Also see what blue modules are in the box, it will at least tell you what version it shipped with.
The current version is 1.52, anything other than version 1.0 is a simple upgrade. Amazing that there are any "old" version out there since the Legacy systems has been out of stock for many, many months. If a dealer was sitting on them and didn't sell them during the shortage, they were really not paying attention
Well since they were out of stock at most dealers I'd suspect it's new. 1.52 modules in the box and on the system would confirm it's new. Also the shipping box probably has a date.
Helped install a new 990 for a friend yesterday. They are shipping with v. 1.52 software.

I'm guessing not in the last batch with older software.
Picked mine up Saturday. It's version 1.52 as some have mentioned.
