How to operate my new Lionel #71-8326-250 GG1

I bought this new old stock black GG-1 item number 71-8326-250 i have the switch set to run, im not familar with the newer lionel, this is the first one i have owned, the other lionel's are old conventional ones

Would like to be able to run with dcs
