Nice.
It cracks me up; it's snowing (a little) but the kids are wearing nothing more than sweatshirts! Tough breed, you Mid- Westerners...π

Just because it snows, doesn't mean that it is all that cold. Now, when the temps drop into single digits, or below zero, then a bit more layers of clothing might be in order.
Gary,
Thanks for posting this video. Loved the little guys in it! I haven't been there in awhile so it was nice to see the layouts progress.
My first visit there of many was when they were still building the benchwork in some places.
Thanks for taking a look guys.....
We only live about two miles from this layout. Chi-Town Union Station. The grandchildren are still in car seats and it its hard to get the safety belts on them over their winter jackets. So most kids ride now with no jackets.

I haven't been to Chi-Town in a while myself. I'll have to take a look at your video Gary!

Gary, I enjoyed your video. It is definitely on my list to visit there some day. The kids are cute!
I guess they just work on the layout all the months that they are closed?
Nice video, Paul used to come to O scale west.
Yes, itβs been a few years since Iβve been there. Maybe a quick run over there this month before they close for the summer? For those visiting, just about thirty minutes north of this layout is another 2-rail scale layout in Holly Michigan in an old theater that is pretty big. Open house on certain weekends, you may be able to do both in one day

Yes visiting the Detroit Model Railroad Club & Chi-Town on the same day is feasible. Paul Gribble used to be the president of the DMRC. Below are the dates for the rest of this season. This is the address: 104 N Saginaw St, Holly, MI 48442. It is right down town in the old movie theater building that the club owns.
