Well, like you Jack, we run everything from NKP, B&O, C&O, NW, NYC, to MKT, SF, SP and the UP. So you never know what you'll see running around the layout on any given day. This particular video just happen to be all SP stuff with a 6 pack of aluminum PFE reefers  for the layout update (which I still have NOT done the edits for).

We are originally from Ohio, so my Dad saw all the NKP, B&O, N&W etc etc living close to Bellvue, OH. Then when I was 6, we moved out west and I grew up with UP, SP, and SF. So we have just about all of it, from the Midwest to the Pacific Coast.

Which reminds me....we have been trying to come up with a name for this RR for almost 3 years now. Something that incorporates that idea of the midwest to the west coast. It's worse than trying to name a kid or an animal.  Not asking for suggestions just pointing out what we are trying to come up with that fits the RR.

(I love The Central Connecting by the way....fits perfect)

The layout is also top notch, thanks for posting.

Thanks John. 3rd Rail uses the ERR boards with the new sound files. I believe this one is the STEAM RAILSOUNDS-articulated series.

It sounds incredible!  I've been considering this board for a scratch built steamer, think you just made me a believer!

Doug

Would like to know where you got those work platforms inside the roundhouse.

Thanks

John

Sorry John, I missed your question.

Those are from Dave at Crescent Locomotive Works.... he lists them on Ebay on a regular basis, or did! I got them direct from him, through his website and when I talked to him at York last year. He also built the ash pit/hoist that's in the steam service area.

I don't think I can post the link because he is not a forum sponsor, but you can look up Crescent Locomotive Works on Bing or Google.

Thanks
