Some additions to the fleet this past week. The 999 is the last version that has the logo on the cab & DR motor and came to me via Canada. A genius had used solid copper wire for brushes and it amazingly ran Ok, but the commutator face looked like the surface of the moon. A junk motor donated it's commutator assembly and brush springs and it now runs like a champ. The three 7" cars are actually Mexican PlastiMarx that I have been searching for quite a while. The gondola and caboose look just like a US version except the logo on the ends and also all cars have black T&S couplers. The State of Main boxcar is like the US version, but the blue upper section is black on the Mexican variant.
