Gentlemen,
Just reworked this old 1900 Tin Plate light house, originally it was a candle in my Great Grandparents home.
I installed a light for my O Guage layout this past week, thought you might like to see it.

Beautiful. Lighthouses are one of my interests, and I have two on the layout, although neither is as nice as yours.

I thought you might like the light house Tin. It actually has a swivel hanger on the top where they use to hand it up for light in their entry way at the farm house.
I put one of the small electric layout house lights in the base, to simulate the candle light. The small light does not even get the old Tin Plate warm.

Thank you for the nice comment sir, I also have a hand carved wooden light house
with the light in the very top on the layouts also. I am like you every layout needs a light house.

That is a treasure and I think it is also wonderful that you found a new purpose for it after restoration. It would be nifty to put one of those lights used for a water tower that go off and on to simulate a beacon. Thanks for sharing this one of a kind.
