The Robert Grossman Company, purveyors of all kinds of parts for Marx trains, recently raised my already-high estimation of their service.
I had sent an order, but omitted one item. As luck would have it, Robert had shipped the order. To make a long story short, he followed up with the second part, didn't charge me shipping, and told me "Pay me on your next order". There are some good guys out there.

Many times over the years they have had the parts I was hoping to find. Ever now and again when I find a piece of prewar Marx they do have the correct parts needed for repairs.
Without him, I could not have revived about 90% of what I run. His company is invaluable to Marxists. A great guy.
Was he on TM Books Lionel 100 year anniversary dvd, and the Golden Age of Toy Trains dvd(I think thats what it was called)?

I am not sure it was him but yes,there was a fellow on that DVD with the same name. Coincidence? I don't know.
