a few months back i had purchased a used AC-6 steam engine and had a few issues. It didn´t have good traction tires and i ordered new ones. it was very difficult to put them on even with following the instructions from MTH. is there a trick to make it easier to put them on? I´m asking because it had spit out a tire and am not looking forward to reinstalling it. Also the engine has dual smoke stacks. The train steams great except 99%of the time steam only comes out of 1 stack. is there a way to adjust the angle of the unit to get it to come out of both stacks?

I assume this is the premier version.  The trick for changing the traction tires on this engine is to remove the bolts holding the rod linkages on the three drive wheels in front of the drive wheel with the traction tire, so the linkage rod is only attached to the drive wheel with the traction tire.  Then thread the loose linkage through the new traction tire and on to the driver in question.
