Good evening all:
I have need of the "AC MOTOR STOP" sign that is embedded at the end of a catenary run. Last week I took the follow shot of Amtrak's 'End-of-Catenary' point in Harrisburg, behind the parking garage.
Does anyone have a source for these, or a nifty way to make them for O scale? I have some ideas of my own, but figured I would ask before I take on the endeavor myself. Marty? Bruce? Dan? Bueller?

How about quarter inch scale peel and stick letters. Or just print it on photo paper or hard stock.
The signs are 3 feet wide by 2 feet high. The holes punched for letters are 3/4" diameter, and the periods for the letters A and C are holes that are 7/8" in diameter.
So, in 0 scale, the signs would be 3/4" wide by 1/2" high. The holes would be 0.016" (sixteen thousandths) in diameter, or about 7 RCH.
Clip, straighten, shrink, print to heavy stock, cut out and use!

Very nice. What for stock did you print that on? Does it go through a standard laser printer? I would have to punch the holes with a pushpin or something...drive me nuts otherwise.
It is too bad I am not more resourceful...this seems like it would be a very easy plastic detail part, down to the holes themselves.
