I've seen examples of Lionel and MTH engines running together in one train on YouTube. I don't have my WTIU yet, but wanted to know if it's possible. Thanks.

Yes, in theory, the app supports it.
Catch22- in order for this to work, you need a serial data connection between the WTIU and the BASE3 or Legacy base.
It's more complicated that that first sounds- Base3 does not have a serial port, it has PDI ports meaning you need to buy a PDI cable and LCS SER2 module.
On the WTIU side, it too does not natively have a serial port. There is a new cable adapter in the works, but it's not yet even listed to preorder and buy.
One thing I wanted to try once I get my WTIU is try different commercial USB to serial cables and see if I can find a combination that works- but so far, haven't seen reports of someone else trying this. That in theory then still might need a 50-1032 cable adapter?
So short answer, right now today- no. There are a couple of not yet released hurdles. Future- supposed to be supported, but until it is- seems like wishful thinking.
Thanks for the response. I have purchased the LCS SER2, PDI and MTH adapter cable. Just waiting for the Serial/USB adapter now. So much adapting!

See this video, I've jumped ahead to where this and power are discussed https://youtu.be/JqX9ERmq86o?s...7SoCFNt7N8&t=739
