Once more into the fray after taking down my second layout and vowing not to do a third. It’s in your blood or it isn’t. This “last layout” will be a three rail hi rail layout about 30’ x 20’ and feature the ATSF from the late thirties to 1960 one way or another. Scenery will be the focus of this layout with master level craftsman kits, scratch building and a better ratio of track to scenery to vice versa. I will have a major grade where a train will exit a tunnel after rising approximately 7” from table top on a 2.5% grade. The radius curve will be O-81. I would like to find the components for a curved deck girder bridge that I can build for the O-81 curves. I would like steel supports. I do have bridge books but I really don’t know where to turn for the components. I have several photos as guides but I dare not post them here because I do not have the photographer’s permission. I guess I am venturing into the bridge scratch building scene. I know there are laser cut bridge components but they do not look quite scale to me. The components of Atlas O Pratt Truss bridges look good so, perhaps, I will buy a couple of those.

Thanks for the help.

I built my girder bridges from this great tutorial from @Jim Policastro.  Very straightforward and turned out great.

The metal deck supports are harder to find. There are some real nice (but super salty) from Ross.  I kit bashed some MTH metal girder supports - they’re okay, but I would have loved to have found some of the options in O that exist in HO.
