Tough call on if Grandpa was cooler than Gomez because of that, but I liked The Addams Family much better overall and if a show ended without trains being run, I was disappointed for sure.
"Grandpa" was a pretty cool character. I seem to recall that in real life he was also a baseball scout for, I believe, the Baltimore Orioles.

I thought Grandpa was more of an NBA guru than a baseball scout.
I would like more info on the second seasons ADDAMS FAMILY "replacement" layout. It seems that it would be more easier and cost effective to build.
