I have a MTH PS-3.0 SW-1500 and I’m thinking about adding ditch lights if possible that is.
I don’t see the ditch light command on my MTH wifi APP.
Thanks for your help.

You can look around for a different sound file that may have the ditch lights. Also, sometimes they're enabled in the sound file but not represented in the menu.
could he put in a chain file for a road diesel and keep the soundfile intact?
I'm never sure if all the lights are in the chain or the sound files?
Right, PS/3, I'm thinking PS/2. I'd just connect LED's to the ditch light outputs and see if they're already active.
Go to the MTH website in search type in PS3 go to support it will show you the part# for dich lights. Go down further to the schematic it will show you what wires to use to hook up ditch lights front /rear. Then call MTH talk to Midge in parts to see if they are available.

I would think that you can install your own if you can solder. No resistors needed. I use warm white, bright, LEDs. Just 2 wires but polarity matters.
PS3 is wired opposite of PS2 for positive and negative.
You can use the diesel upgrade kit instructions for where the wires go.
The sticking point is the tiny 1mm connector pins, they're a bear to crimp! You will want to find pre-crimped wires to connect to the 40-pin connector.

and actual control of the ditch lights...
Thank you all for your help,
With an ES44 sound file and a new flash code its' perfect.
Now I will try with a SW-1500 sound file.
Mix-n-match, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Nice work, Happy New Year. G
Warok, where did you get the ditch lights from. I'm working on a similar project. Any help will be appreciated.
Tres magnifique!

Here's a search string for Lionel parts, lots of different enclosures and even the tiny LED boards that slide into them.

Thanks. They have a lot of options. I'm looking for the housing to match my K-line LIRR MP15AC which I think looks more like a SW1500. I made it a Non-powered unit for my push-pull set. Just adding the lights. Thanks again.
I have not heard from Marc in several years and unfortunately, I think something may have happen, maybe during Covid. He was a customer of mine and in France. NO post anywhere in a few years. G
Thanks for the update GGG. I didn't know, I just saw the old post and liked how his engine came out.
