I've looked a bachman EZ streets, would like something better. Have some folks tried slot cars approaching 1:48, or other alternatives. Any thoughts?
We have a large Christmas Village layout, about 150 square feet with roughly 100 feet of track. We have static automobiles and trucks on roads but would like to have a portion of our roadways with operating vehicles. I would prefer these to be track powered rather than battery powered and would enjoy if they could be remotely controlled via either some kind of wireless connection or otherwise.
Also if anyone had tips about a particular mfg of 1:48 cars or close that are susceptable to the installation of led's to light headlights and tail lights....
