I have an SD70 I want to upload a ps3 file in, but I really do not like clip 3 "beep-beep-beep".
I deleted clip 3 and played the entire file. It played.
Question is? If I upload this modified sound file will it run? I realize I can add another clip3 , possibly from an ES44AC?
Has anyone done this?

Well - I uploaded that modified file, where I deleted clip 3, and it starts up, smoke, sounds, couplers, ditch lights, etc. work fine - BUT - after running for less than 1 minute she shuts down. I have to disconnect power, remove engine from track and replace on track prior to starting up again. She runs for maybe 2 minutes, then does the same thing. If I do not remove from the track, whether on test track or layout, I get the message "Engine not on track". This is in DCS mode. In conventional, she starts up in about 20-30 seconds, sounds, etc. good. When applying the throttle to move it shuts down, same thing.
I don't think this SD70 likes the modified file. Tomorrow I will upload a normal SD70 file and see what happens. She ran fine with the test file loaded. The engine is a 20-2377-1, that was upgraded to PS3 in November 2016.
This is the second PS3 Diesel Upgrade I have completed. The other was done in December 2016 and runs fine.
