Hi - I did get the 2 Alco's running and added LED headlights - I don't think the LED has anything to do with it, but now I've got a small capacitor in the LED circuit so it's not just resisitive - and one of the the shoes on the truck is really sparky. It's up/down resistance is the same as the other shoe on the other truck, I've cleaned it with rubbing alcohol and a que tip - any suggestions? Is this a problem? It's almost continuous. This is the old 2 motor engines. The other Alco does not have shoes, I understand shoes were added to help the engine maintain power when going over switches - is there any problem if I replace the original shoeless trucks with a spare pair of trucks with shoes?
Thanks
Tom
