We wanted to share a bit of insight into some recent updates regarding ad placements on the site. As many of you may have noticed, we’ve been experimenting with ad locations, including ads within posts, to find what works best for both user experience and site sustainability. Our goal is to make sure the ads feel as unobtrusive as possible, while still providing the revenue needed to support and enhance the forum you all love.
Please keep in mind that these ad placements are not set in stone. While we are listening to feedback and will be making adjustments as needed, please do not post your thoughts on the forum...rather contact us at info@ogaugerr.com. Our priority is creating a user experience that feels balanced—ads included. And just to be clear, this isn’t about implementing something like Adsense; we’re being mindful of the kind of experience our members want to have.
If you notice ads in different areas, it's simply part of our testing process as we work to determine the most effective and least disruptive setup. Our goal is to maintain a high-quality experience for you all while allowing the forum to grow and thrive.
