Here's one that is appropriate for the Guinness Book of Records..Good grief..maybe too much realism with smoke is too much.

Wow. I am a huge fan of large amounts of smoke. I would love to have that type of smoke out put on my Hudson, provided I could tone it down for day to day operation.
WOW-EE!!! OMG, talk about realistic. That appears to be HO. Wonder how large the smoke fluid chamber/reservoir is and how long/far that train is able to go before smoke fluid needs to be refilled?
Nice model. Excellent visual in "lots a' smoke"...
BUT...
The "smoke" is fan driven, not "chuffing/puffing" realistically.
IMHO, that's where the O 3 rail models have it all over the non-puffing scales. It is VERY nice looking to see an O 3 rail model starting slow and shooting wads of "smoke" into the air with an audible "CHUFF, CHUFF, CHUFF..." in synchronous fashion.

I agree laming. While a lot of smoke is certainly nice to look at, chuff-driven smoke and sound were 2 of the main reasons I chose O-Gauge when I got back into model railroading. Even though I could do more with HO, O-Gauge just has that extra degree of realism I was looking for. It's really apparent when I visit the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park where they have N, HO and G Scale layouts next to each other in the same building. Each has the same amount of space (1,280 sf) and while one can certainly get a lot more N and HO Scale railroading in that space, O Scale is a lot more visually appealing, at least to me. But, I sure did like seeing all the smoke, would probably set off my smoke alarms.
Looks more like "an example of a poor G scale fireman".........

It's G scale according to the title.
I have the O Scale equivalent in my heavily upgraded 18056 Hudson. And it chuffs and puffs!
That is some kinda sweet. The only thing to make it better would be if it was JT's bacon flavor. As for unrealistic chuffing, the engine is about 5 inches tall, so there's that.
Looks like a typical MTH smoke unit set on high
That's beautiful...if there were some way to simply add a trigger unit for the fan to make it chuff it'd be perfect....maybe a pair of rare earth magnets on the drivers and reed switches?
Wow! There's a house without smoke alarms.
Yeager must be firing ... :-)
I'm curious what all the electronics is required for. It does smoke, and I never thought of breaking those resistors apart to get the bare element, that's a great idea!
Totally incredible! Love it!
I like the effect but I can't imagine what a room would be like in a few minutes..I can see the operators wearing masks and respirators. Might have a "cornfield meet" with all that fog...lol
I look at all that smoke and think: where is all that vapor going to deposit itself?
To each their own.
Not something for everyday, but every now and then OMG!!!
I'd probably add a switch to the locomotive to enable the massive smoke, it would just be for demo use.
Man! You would have to have a smoke fluid tender for that.

So much for the resale value of that house!
This is GREAT!
Who's Hudson is this please?
MTH or USA Trains?

OK Nick - enough of the tease..
Let's see a video with her cranked up!

Rod Stewart is coming over next week for an operating and testing session. We'll load up the smoke unit and get the video camera out. Will be a hassle editing out the sound of us choking
I want one like yours Nick!
The magic combo is a Frank Timko MTH PS2 unit loaded up with JT's MegaSteam and wired in with ERR's Cruise Commander and Puff N' Chuff technology. As was discussed in another thread there was a concern this could fry a triac on the R2LC board but thus far I've had no issues. Maybe Frank has some sort of secret technique that makes the MTH unit play nice with Lionel electronics.
This is GREAT!

The video description says USAT, so USA Trains.
