Many terms are used in discussing our trains. TMCC, Proto2, DCS, Command Control, ODYSSEY II, Legacy, Trainmaster, Train Sounds, Rail Sounds, Dyna-Chuff, etc., and etc.

Sure would be nice if somebody in the know could print an index defining each term and suggesting what kind of operator, beginner, advanced, conventional, etc., needs to take advantage of which.

Here's a short list I've been working on:
1. @#$%& switches!-Turnouts that cause derailments
2. @#$%& E-unit!-Reverse units that don't sequence properly
3. @#$%& curves!-Curves that are too tight of a radius or that cause derailments
4. @#$%& couplers!-Couplers that either uncouple at will anywhere or ones that wont open or close properly
5. @#$%& engine!-Any locomotive that doesn't operate as well as you think it should
6. @#$%& (insert manufacturer of your choice)!-Go to reason for any of the above
Also known as @#$%& Chinese!
7. @#$%& Ebay!-Online auction site where everything is either too expensive or junk or (be they a buyer or seller) a rip off
8. @#$%& (insert mail order company of your choice)!-Similar but not an auction
9. @#$%& (insert LHS of your choice)!-Ditto
10. @#$%& third rail!-What scale guys say about us
11. @#$%& rivet counters!-What we say about them
