Android tablet failed with my MTH app on it .Bought new Samsung at local Verizon store. Was told MTH premium app at Google Play store could no longer be down loaded to this tablet even if I purchased app. What are other of you MTH dcs wify users doing?

It's tied to your google account. Just log into the app store using your account.
Then go into the app and refresh- we've had a few posts on this.
Thanks barry.I looked first for other posts but could not find .The other problem is I no longer have my password for google account done in 2018. How would a new person purchase this app Thanks
Either way, you have to log into google play store. You either recover your password and regain access,- doing so saves you money.

Or, create a new google account, add your credit card, and buy the new upgrade license.

I have an older Samsung tablet and I am always signed into the Google Play Store.
The only thing that shows up in a search for anything MTH is Wi-Fi DCS, but it is not a premium version nor is one available. I have it installed, but it is just the simplified version.
But if I go into the Play Store to the page where WiFi DCS is located it says "Pending" in an endless loop that never changes trying to auto update itself until I click Cancel/

@Vernon Barry posted:I had to log into the app store- just to make sure I was still logged in, open the DCS app, at the top right under the upgrade there is a "Restore" I hit that, and then my License showed up.
That topic and reset was related to Apple users and the Apple version of the app store but the android version works effectively the same way.
You must have logged into the app store (example google play on an android based device-or apple app store on apple)
Then you open the DCS app, go to the upgrade section, hit refresh and if you had a license on that platform, it should then have access.

I didn't have a license. Does that mean the Premium app is not currently available?
The DCS Explorer can't take advantage of it, but I do have a WTIU on order.
Thanks,
John

#1 there is no premium version of the app. There is only "the app". When you buy an upgrade license, it unlocks features but it's still always the same app. So no, your first mistake is you should not be looking for the "premium app".
#2 You access that upgrade or buy it in the app- not in the store. Again the store stores this magical license in it for you, you have access, that how it is paid, but the interaction happens in the DCS app while you are logged into the store.
Again, this rather lengthy topic- while it was apple users affected, easily would have been identical for an android user- just the google play store VS apple app store. https://ogrforum.com/...lready-paid-for-this
Things like- if you have a DCS explorer or WIU and have it set to stand up an access point standalone SSID (MTH_DCS_XXX) then you need to switch your tablet to your home internet wifi (whatever your home wifi network SSID is) so your tablet has internet access- so it actually can reach out to the correct store to either recover the license or buy one- whatever you are trying to do.
Thanks Vernon.
I'll try that
