Mark,
There is the Strasburg Model Railroad Club of Marlton, NJ with a website- www.strasburgmodelrailroad.com. Met these guys at a train show we did in Linwood, NJ in November 2019. They are a HO and O gauge.
There is the Cherry Valley Model Railroad Club in Cherry Hill, NJ. They have a facebook page- Cherry Valley Model Railroad. I think they are a scale O gauge club
There is the Shore Model Railroad Club in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. They don't list a website.
I met all three clubs at a train show in November 2019 that we did in Linwood, NJ which is near Atlantic City. My club www.ocsmr.com Ocean County Society of Model Railroaders is located in Lakewood, NJ on the Jackson border. I am the president of my club.
Reach out to me with the email in my profile if you need any assistance.
Thanks.
Northern NJ has an awesome O Gauge model railroad club known as the NJ Hi-railers. I realize location is important to you and your preference is for the club to be in Southern NJ.
Thanks for all the info!!! I will check them out!

I'm in Pitman and if the Mason-Dixon Line was extended east, I'm just south of it. Doesn't that count as South?
I thought all you Jersey guys had to identify an exit on the parkway to tell if your north or south

Yes sir it does. Very few people know that the mason dixon line went thru NJ. Hats off to you. Grab your prize - Ability to say "I live in the real south jersey. LOL. Now if we can get the north to pay attention to us that would be something (other than them wanting what we have and taxing us to get it) LOL There aren't that many clubs in western South Jersey. (Salem and Cumberland Counties).

Whoa partner stop spreading that rumor!!! So Not true. Even finding a train store is tough. Alloway Trains n Things is close but small. Just Trains of Delaware and Nicolas Smith of Broomall Pa are about an hour away plus Bridge Tolls. I know of no club real close. But I can hope someday.
Thanks Everyone! To me its all just New Jersey since I am originally from LONG ISLAND NEW YORK!! :-)
LONG ISLAND NEW YORK!!
The land of LONG traffic lines!
Well I am officially in South Jersey (Marlton) and now looking to check out some of the area clubs, if they have open houses.

We are not reopened yet as it is not pandemic-related any longer as the museum we share the building received the go ahead from the township to reopen. We are now in the same process waiting to reopen very shortly.
When we reopen, you are invited to check out our club as we have an open invite policy and encourage folks to bring the younger ones.
Some clubs are open for the model railroad open houses in the south Jersey area. http://www.modelrailroadopenhouse.com/
