Just got mine. I have a Marx set, and these have more "weight" than the Marx ones. Also, the black and yellow painting looks better than the Marx painting!

DominicMazoch... Yes the new RMT by AristO towers have been inproved over previous Marx and Kline offerings. In addition to updated electrical components from earlier Marx versions, the RMT towers are each painted specific to a railroad or company.
The ladders are now painted rather than chrome plated and there is a metal base too.
Each tower that relates to a specific railroad or company is painted slightly different for each Water-Rotating Beacon-Railyard Light version so while they are all 'family', the different painting details allows all 3 to be used and they will look a bit different.

I was wondering if the light housings themselves were the same size as on the K-Line version of this accessory. They just seem very large on the K-Line model that I have. Of course this is just my observation and opinion.
