I’m laying track currently and the instruction book didn’t mention track spacing. Does anyone know that maybe has one what the center to center spacing is? Also how would one have an atlas switch setup going into it that would work. I tried laying out an 072 wye with half 072 curves but doesn’t seem like it’s going to line up the spacing correctly. Thanks!

History: Original offering was IHC International Hobby Corp.
Try placing the door side on a piece of paper and then mark the door openings (4 spots for 2 openings). Next, put two pieces of track parallel to each other through the marked door openings and mark the spot where the center rail joiners are located on the paper. Measure between the last two spots and you have track center spacing. Finally, use a free (limited use) track planning software like SCARM or AnyRail to try various Atlas switch and track pieces to reach that spacing. Done!!

The difference between the measurement of the inside edges of the doors and the outside edges of the doors is the center to center distance. If that doesnt line up with the spacing of the track system, either cut the track, or use flex track. If an O72 is too wide of a swing, then use a #5, which is roughly half the divergent angle.
Picture from about 2002 on the 1993-2003 layout.
A standard Lionel O72 switch with an O72 curve works.
This is when it was an IHC model. The Atlas model is the same.
