Hi Stephen,
Atlas = 4.5"
MTH = Roughly 5", but you can move the track a bit.
Dave Thanks for the info, since Im in 2 rail and I us 4'' centres can I remove and replace the track? Stephen (cTr....Choose the Right)
Do a Google search for Bridge Boss and Silk City Bridges. Theirs might be good options for you. Ross Custom Switches also has some nice bridges. For some spots, we have just used a one by four with the girder bridge sides from scenic express.
The Atlas Pratt Truss bridge should be available in two rail. It would be difficult to remove the track and install other than Atlas.
Silk City bridgeworks can build a bridge with any track spacing you like Email is silkcitybridgeworks@yahoo.com

From their website.
Most of the parts with walkways would be listed here.
www.bridgeboss.com offers an entire line of bridges that accommodate single, dual track and wider on a custom basis. See us at York next week with our new HO Elevated bridge system.
One of my Previous layouts used 3 x 30" Arch type bridges without the center piers. There was no trouble running any trains, and no bending in the center.

Originally I got my bridgeworks from Miami Bridges. Of course they are no longer around. Now I am using Silk City Bridgeworks with excellent results. John does custom work and it is superb. I'll be having a couple more pieces designed (elevated trestle and curved plate girder section) in the near future as I finish my track.

The C-C for the MTH arch bridges is actually 4"
I agree with Larry regarding loads. I have not had a problem with the MTH bridges regarding loading at all.

If not using track with roadbed built in there is room to move track in the MTH bridge.
I too have run my Big Boy across it unsupported many times. It can handle any reasonable load.
Thanks everyone, most use full information, Im not opposed to some work to get the rail centres right, my track is already laid so changing the centres would be to hard. I'll cheque out the other alternatives you've suggested to. Stephen (cTr....Choose the Right)

Define difficult.
