Question out there for those who know more than I.

For those who have used operating accessories with their Atlas tracks, what has your experience been with the Accessory Rails (#6097) and the Uncoupling Track (#6059)?  Do they work well or are they spotty?  I've always seen posts where folks use Atlas track but then use Ross Switches for the turnouts instead, so I don't know if the same frame of mind applies to the operating tracks made by Atlas.

I have always used Fastrack, RealTrax or Tubular with my accessories but never Atlas.  Looking at the Accessory Rail that one has to put together, it just seemed easier to use an operating track piece that was ready to operate out of the box.  I have a listing selling Atlas track on the For Sale forum (so far no takers ) and the thought of them with operating accessories came across my mind.

Thanks.

I use Atlas track and switches and I am very happy with both. The uncoupling track I have installed works just fine. I also have the accessory rails, but have never used them. However, I just got 2 MTH dump cars that require the accessory rails instead of the uncoupling track, so it's time to get them installed ad see what happens before my grandson is out of school for the summer. I have them installed on a piece of track, very easy to do, just haven't got the track installed on the layout to try out yet. I don't see any reason why they would not work like all the other accessory rails from other manufacturers?
