As always, great review...beautiful cars...super containers...the standard by which all others must be judged.
Now I want them!
Great video Eric! I have all road numbers in Pacer Stacktrain (BRAN). These are one of my dream items I was always hoping would be made.
Nice review, I have a 2 rail set and with one exception they were well done,Atlas chose to cut a corner compared to the high detail level of the Trinity cars by leaving out the A and B end detail grab irons, lettering and air hoses [yes the air hoses are mounted on the 3 rail trucks] for the 300.00 retail price I thought they would have finished the ends off prototypically. In comparision the Lionel Gundersons were fully diecast with superb end detail, the Atlas ends are plastic, just pointing that out they are still very well done with the above noted exception. In all fairness the Lionels were produced some 10+ years ago, back in the 2009 catalog they carried a retail price for a 2 car set of 225.00 including containers which were shortened [1/2"= 2 scale feet] to accomadate the 3 rail large truck swing on 0-31 curves.JMO
Nice review
Eric, Really nice job!
What is the dimensions of the curve that you ran the cars through?
Great review of an awesome product that a lot of us have been waiting for a long time to hit the market.
Thanks Eric, I always look forward to your review of O scale products. And as always thanks for sharing with
all of us! The atlas stack cars look to be the best in the O scale market for sure!
Thanks for the video Eric. I just ordered my first Maxi-Stack set, also in TTX colors after watching your review.
But I need help in choosing the containers. Could someone who purchased the BNSF sets or who are familiar with BNSF intermodal trains please tell me what are the prototypical choice for containers on BNSF trains?
I have BNSF tracks close to where I work & I had seen many intermodal trains headed to Chicago. The cars were a mix of TTX & BNSF but the containers are almost exclusively the orange Schneider or white JB Hunt.
Atlas has made BNSF cars in the first run & also plans to offer BNSF cars in the next run but I don't see any choices for containers I see on BNSF intermodal trains.
These are just my opinion,
Thanks,

Mr. Siegel - Where did you get the CSX tower? Anthony
From what I can remember he had Stu Gralnik construct it for him several years ago. He is a wonderful model builder and is a member of the forum.

Thanks! I'll try to reach out to him when the time comes. I need that for my Intermodal yard.

So that's modeled after the CSX Queensgate Yard tower. I saw Stu's model on the internet. Impressive. I did start taking measurements from various photos. Looks like each storey is about 11' 4". I'm going to buy some brick panels this week and see if I can make some time to try modeling the sides of the tower. (I was thinking of making some modifications of the actual building for my layout though.)

Yeah, Stu Gralnik made it for me. It's loosely based on the tower at CSX Queensgate yard.
