I went to run my coal drag earlier today and when placing one of my Atlas-O  H-21 coal Hoppers on the track one of the trucks fell off. I thought maybe the screw came out but when looking at truck there is a small piece of the body that meets the truck just broke off.  Doesn't seem repairable.

1. Anyone else experience this before?

2. Has anyone had any luck with Atlas in getting replacements for defective products?

I plan on calling them Monday

Any thoughts

Steve

I had the same problem with an Atlas 2 bay hopper and tried to fix it myself, the fix didn't last and it has been sitting on my work bench ever since.

I had a brand new  40' UP boxcar that had bad trucks, grab irons and ladders from a bad batch of Zamak. I took photographs and sent an email to Atlas customer service. I received an email within days and had new ladders and truck within a couple of weeks at no charge.

Atlas stands behind their product so you should be able to get the parts.

Thanks should be able to find a screw and nut to make the repair.
