Atlas Santa FE F3's i think :-)

Say, we have been waiting a long time for the Atlas Santa Fe F3's. I heard today they are not scheduled for delivery until fourth quarter 2017. I hope that date does not slip, but gets done, properly, earlier.

So I'm wondering, since Atlas has already delivered F3's made from this tooling if some of you fellows could please attach some pictures of your Atlas F3's onto this message string. Also, how well do they run, and how well do the Electric Railroad boards perform?

Thanks, I appreciate it. I've been wondering what my engines will finally look like. Also wonder what happened to the lot that Atlas was unhappy with.

The complete silence surrounding the Santa Fe F7's is unforgivable on Atlas-O's part. What little we do know seems to be coming from the dealer grapevine.

I thought the Santa Fe F7 B-units are sitting in the NJ warehouse, and we're waiting on the A-units -- reportedly for decoration problems, whatever that means. Last date I heard was 2Q2017. But I don't believe it. I thought the 4Q2017 date was for the batch of F3 locos that were announced with the special golden spike club and limited edition CZ passenger sets. Whatever...

Regardless, Atlas-O's dates for locomotive delivery in general are a disaster on a good day. Ask the poor fella's waiting on Dash-8's. rolleyes
