ATSF F-Unit exhaust stack extensions | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I see we have a topic listed for the ATSF steam engine smoke stack extensions, so I thought this would be a good time to post my own topic. I have several Sunset ATSF F-7 units and I see a common addition by the railroad is to add extensions to their exhaust stacks. I have been unable to locate any plastic or brass detail parts that match, so I wonder if anyone has a really-really good up-close and personal photos of them. they don't look that complicated to make but the black color makes them hard to see their shape, particularly the angled top. Any help would be appreciated.

They may be called spark arrestors. Added to inhibit brush fires from particulate engine exhaust. There are a few Spark arrestors listed under stacks, PSC catalog 3.1, page 280.
