AUROTECH MANUAL DEFICENCIES

I have the K-Line Lionel repair Manual and it has a number of tenders in it. Let me know which ones you need and I'll see if I have them.

Both the Kline and the Aurotec manuals are reprints of the Lionel factory service station manual. While I would not comment on whether these reprints have all the factory pages on tenders, I will say that Lionel did not publish much.

The Kline and Aurotec reprints state they did not include parts lists. Lionel may have released a number of parts lists for tenders

The only tender in the K-Line manual that you're looking for is the 6026W:

CW is right there doesn't seem to be much out there in terms of tender diagrams.

Every Lionel tender is essentially identical. Plastic (or metal) box on a sheet metal frame. Except for wire details on some, there are no other parts. The whistles and trucks were covered seperately by Lionel.

Technically you are correct. Practically, your statement doesn't mean much. I'm looking to find part numbers or see what parts are missing when I buy a junker tender.Jerry's scans of pages from his manual are very helpful.
