I have a Weaver#4204 B&O shark nose that I would like to purchase 60' streamline passenger cars for. It stands pretty tall 3 5/8" on the track and would like the cars to be close to that height. I am looking at the mth 20-6008 but can only find the length not the height. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

I have rooted around on the MTH website and looked at all 3 1995 catalogs (where the set you describe first appears) and could find no car height info.  However, most (if not all) equipment with the Premiere designation (20-) was scale size except for length in the case of passenger cars.  Thus, there is a good chance that those cars will "look" right (at least in height) next to the Weaver engine, but there is an equally good chance they will look too short next to the same engine.

Thanks for the help. My layout is 16 x 20 so I like the 60' cars, I think they look better. Thanks for the advice, I think I'll go after those cars.

I personally would aim for cars that had LEDs already in them, after spending quite some time experimenting with an MTH Premier full vista dome, its was a major time sucker, and I cracked a support.

I did search on the MTH website, and I used "passenger car", "Rail-king", and "Baltimore & Ohio" and came up with quite a few sets. I assumed that Rail-King are 60'/15" and Premier are 70'/18". Then I would start at the most recent, read the description, and so on down the list, figuring out when did MTH switch to LEDs, then make a list, and start searching.
