With the warm weather, it was time to clean up the place.
Being, also, in RC airplanes, I had to move all that stuff out to the detached shop, leaving the rest of the basement a mess that needed to be cleaned up.
After spending a day doing that, I'd thought I'd run some 3 rail stuff. The track is all located on the floor under my HO layout with fluorescent lights hanging from above layout (hey, you do what you have to do!) .
The bulk of these trains are from early 2000's before the scale bug bit hard :[]
UP passenger train:
MTH F-8 A-B-A with 9 passenger cars. That's asking a lot for one A unit with 2 motors to pull that much train. Fortunately, there are no grades.
NP passenger train:
Williams F-3 A-B-A set with 8 Lionel full dome NP passenger cars.
Video of the two trains:

Two early MTH train sets with the original proto sound. Old but the sound system still works great.
A SP daylight passenger train and a N&W J passenger train.

The 3rd loop of track has MTH N&W J with 7 MTH heavy weight passenger cars.
Three other loops have:
Williams Burlington E-8 A-B-A (both A's powered) with MTH 8 car Burlington passenger cars.
A Williams NYC scale hudson with MTH 7 NYC smooth side passenger cars.
The final is MTH Erie Lackawanna PA's A-B-A with 7 passenger cars. This is an early proto2 engine.
Here's the power souce: good ol' post war Lionel transformers.
This just came in today. Not 3 rail but still a train.
Great Northern Z-1 electric. I need to get 3 more since GN usually ran these in groups of 2 or 4.
At least these will be pretty easy to paint: just dark green and black (no empire builder colors).
