I am having a Williams passenger car set repainted and I have taken the sillouettes outs. What is a good adhesive to reglue them with. I have the three in one from scenic express and Gorilla gel glue right now. All suggestions are appreciated. Thanks Paul

I use the gel version of Gorilla super glue in sparingly applied amounts.
What type of passenger car? If it's the aluminum ones the silhouettes will just slide right into the window channel.
Aleen’s Clear Gel Tacky Glue works good also. Holds, doesn’t haze, easy to remove. Hobby crafts type stores carry it.

Thanks everyone for the responses. Scott I got the cars to Christine today. Wife and I enjoyed the ride there. Even caught a NS train on the road to her place. LOU1985, the cars are plastic so the silouettes were glued on. Rich, would the three in one glue Scenic Express sells be like Aleen's tacky...............Thanks Paul
Your local Hobby Lobby should have Aleen Tacky Glue available in the store.
I've just added silhouettes to MR baby Madison cars. I used repro 027 PW passenger car silhouettes. I had to cut them up to show up in the windows as well as possible. I simply used scotch tape to attach them trying to keep the tape out of the window openings.

Paul,
Would enjoy seeing your custom consist if you want to share pics when they are completed. I am gathering cars together for Christine's next painting project for me, the 1970s era auto-train.

Scott, once I get them back I'll post the fantasy paint scheme. I was able to get a set of Gulf, Mobile and Ohio passenger cars awhile back from Bob Thatcher of AM hobbies for a good price. So Christine will be doing a 6 car consist comprising baggage car, 4 coaches and an observation car done in the L&N freight paint scheme that Williams put out on their scale FA-1's.....Paul
Paul,
That will be a beautiful set! Looking forward to seeing the train!
