Boscov's Crusader question?

Purchased new from Boscov's and running for the 1st. time this year, runs like a Swiss watch by the way. It has the double ended obs. cars, my question is should the colored lights on the ends of the obs. light up? Someone must have one. Thank-you in advance. Regards Jim

only on the exposed end. The oterh obs in the "front" of the train will not have the markers lit.
