BOXCAR DOOR HARDWARE???

The door has Superior hardware.  Superior bought out the Creco door hardware in the early 1940s.  They were referred to as Superior door hardware.
There has been an effort recently to fill this void. A modeler in Austria has done 3D CAD designs based upon information I sent her.  
I have included a couple pictures of Sarah’s beautiful parts

Hi folks, I am just about to start with exactly the same type of door. Thanks Gene for all the information! I've just finished Camel lift fixtures for the Intermountain plastic boxcars and will now start with the Superior door itself. As you have seen above I've already drawn the CRECO hardware for that type of door and will let you know when they are ready.
