The weekend of March 10-11 The National Capital Trackers will display a 48' X 88' H shaped layout. The layout will consist of 4 loops of over 200 linear feet of track each. If you look at the layout you will see a **** Gate Bridge in the middle. all loops go over this bridge however it is only 3 tracks. The 2 outside loops will share the center track. Both outside loops will go in the counterclockwise direction so when the trains from each outside loop approach the bridge they will traverse the center track in opposite directions. For those of you familiar with The National Christmas Tree Railroad this is the same bridge used by that group. See the pdf of the layout attached.

The show is at Saunders Middle School 13557 Spriggs Road, Woodbridge, VA. Show is 10-5 Sat & 11-5 Sun.

The proceeds from this years event will help support Japanese Association Troop 2 that was devastated in last years tsunami. Coinciding with this is the 100th anniversary of the cherry blossoms in Washington D.C. the Japanese Ambassador is to be an honored guest of this show. See the flyer below.

Oh yeah there will be some How Ordinary and other wienie trains there too.

Thanks for posting this information!  I'm relatively new in being active on the Forum, and wondered if there was a place for such announcements. This will be a fantastic show. I first saw the **** Gate Bridge in 2006, at the Washington DC Stamp Exhibition the end of May. Here are three photos I took then, but they do not do justice to this magnificent structure. And, yes, I can't wait to see one of My trains roll across it next weekend!
