Well, it's interesting you asked this question.

We (LHS) stock Branchline kits.  A while back we were asked whether we'd have a market for built/painted structures in this product line.  Nothing more heard about it since then.

The Menard's version of Bar Mills' Saulena's Tavern offered this past holiday season seems to indicate there is some reason to speculate about this as re laser-cut wood kits.

But, pre-painted laser-cut wood kits?.....Haven't heard of any consideration in this direction.  One reason may lie in the Bar Mills kit instructions of my current project, Bull's Salvage.  Art Fahey is rather insistent that you start by applying reinforced bracing to the inside of the walls before painting...to minimize warpage from that process.  It might, therefore, require any producer to do this much pre-assembly before painting...an effort/expense I'm not sure they'd find a receptive market for.  I mean, if you're going to start with that much effort, why not go the whole route....completed structure?  Woodland Scenics has found this to be worthwhile ($$$), and they're (W/S) kit versions are not pre-painted, either.
