Brand New Legacy Won't recognize TMCC after about an hour of running.

Have your tried reprogramming it with a new i.d.#?

The problem is it is not recognizing the TM signal. It starts up in conventional mode.

Sometimes the mods move threads to the proper category, and sometimes the thread just gets deleted.

Send it back.

I'm not the expert on this Greg, but make sure the loco's handrails (which are the antenna for the TMCC radio signal) aren't shorted to the die-cast boiler shell.  the stanchions are plastic now, for that very reason!!  Hope you get it solved, and please post back with the resolution if you do.

Called Lionel, They think it is the board, not recognizing TMCC. It's on its way back to them.

For anyone wondering, spoke with Lionel because I messed up my remote trying to make this engine work...

If one puts a new Lionel Legacy on the track in Program and it lights up but nothing else happens, the board has an issue. I had never had it happen...but good to know and I would not have spent hours trying to program it.
