Wow Mike!! At first I was impressed with your foam brick work. Then you kept adding more photos of your layout and all of your modeling talents. Very impressive.
Hi All
Circumstances have dictated that I have to dismantle this layout. A shame since there was interest in a magazine feature for the layout.
I put an ad up in the for sale section listing some of the parts (or even the whole) for sale - if anything grabbed your eye, let me know and it could be yours. My contact details are in the for sale ad.
Thanks
Mike I am sorry to read that you are going to have to dismantle the layout. I was certainly enjoying reading about your construction and seeing your photographs. I wish you well, and hope you can start building a new layout sooner than later!
Mike, what a shame. Great layout and use of space. Sorry to see it go. Next one... bigger n better!
When will you start dismantling it?

I just discovered this topic today, and as I usually do in such cases, I went to the first post and read them all in order.
Imagine my dismay when I reached the end and found that this marvelous project was ended and disposed of, though not all the trains, I trust.
I am always looking for clever and imaginative ideas for model railroading in small and unique spaces. People's solutions to the ubiquitous small space challenge are always interesting and inspiring.
Thanks for posting, Mike.
Cheers!
Alan
Thanks for all the kind words! This was such a fun project and I look forward to thseeing chance to do another - perhaps without the space constant next time!
Plus - I was able to sell some pieces and get something to indulge my other hobby!!

Haha! Even bigger than a cello! That is a double bass!!
I’m rather impressed, but can’t understand the overall configuration of the apartment?
Outstanding work on the scenery what a shame it had to be torn down.
I'm wondering how you got to the far end of the finished layout if you had a track problem or derailment.
