Jim, I used momentary PUSH buttons on the passenger sidings on my layout in Cincinnati. When the buttons were held down we had power to the sidings. When a button was released, no power to that track. Good way to assure no rolling stock plows into a parked passenger train. I lived six miles from the Grainger store. John in Lansing, ILL

Jim- I used both- toggles for track and siding power, momentary buttons for un-couplers. Bought both on DaBay. The toggles were pre-wired too which saved some soldering.
