So I own two legacy engines one steam that I had no issues getting to work with the cab2 and the other Union Pacific DD35 both are practically brand new. The DD35 is not connecting to the cab2 for the life of me. I have watched the Lionel videos to see if I am doing anything wrong and nothing that I can find. Both run no issues using the Lion chief app but that doesn't provide all the functions. Any ideas?

The newest DD35 has a switch under the hood that selects bluetooth or tmcc legacy. I think the switches are under the front part of the roof. Try looking and see. I think it does one or the other at one time. Hope you get it solved.
My Legacy locomotives with Bluetooth run either or without changing any switches. When did they change that capability?

Sorry, GunrunnerJohn, guess I wrote too soon. Manual for DD35 LTI 20233141250 date 2/22 says switch turns bluetooth module on/off. I assumed (and you know the story about assume) that it meant also switching off the R2LC module. I have never tried bluetooth, mea culpa. Sorry if I steered anyone wrong.
