cable reels

Wine corks.  paint them whatever color isnt obvious .  set with something like elmers white,  as its water soluable if you want to remove them without damage.

This is how I do it.

Here are a couple of pictures of some cable reels secured onto a flat car. I don't see why you couldn't use the same technique for a gondola.
