I found this thread from last year on this subject but it's been closed ... so I'm starting a new one to ask a year later, how others have found running LionChief using the it's remote on DCS fixed channel and does it coexist with DCS engines running together?

Yes, but obviously you have to have 2 controllers in your hands to run them.  The LC use the same 18V track power like any command engine.  Not sure if there have been any reports of LC killing the DCS signal.  Some Lionel TMCC/Legacy engines have been know to cause that.  Fixed by installing an inductor in the AC input line to the engine.


One point though, Lionel recommends Voltage no higher than 18V.  MTH can run up at 24V.  So you don't want track voltage set too high.  G
