I have had this display set in storage after inheriting it 6 years ago. I know it was purchased at a train show for 6K back then. Any information anyone could tell me would be great. Thank you.
As you can see it is not being used and is stored all by itself.

Is there a secondary market for this unit. It needs a new home.
That looks more, to me, like an old dealer display unit. Lionel made many of these in different predetermined layouts that were then sold to dealers to display that year's options. There are some who collect and or restore them but I would believe it's a limited market.
I believe it is a TrainWorx product duplicating a 5x9 Super O Lionel display layout.
I think it is the D 264

There are other custom builders out there, too, such as Randy Weber, who have done Lionel display reproductions, and this might have made by one of those builders as well. If the OP pulls the layout out of the attic and examines it, it's very possible the builder's name will be on it somewhere.
