Can SuperStreets vehicles climb grades?

Those that have superstreets on you layouts, can you tell me if superstreets vehicles can climb grades. If so, how steep a grade they they reasonably climb and descend? I have an elevated city area and would like build a ramp up to it and I am trying to figure out how long the ramp has to be. I am dealing with an elevation change of 8 inches.
