I have recorded three Record/Playback sessions, and they work fine. Two of them run four and five engines that are located in the diesel facility, and five switch-tracks also are involved. I have two TIU's running in Super Mode, and I know (from Barry's Book) that even though I select TIU-1 to record the sessions, these actually are saved in both TIU's.

My question is whether I can use two remotes for recording the sessions. For example, could I use one remote just to control the switch-tracks, and the other for the engines?

I could try using the two remotes and see what happens, but since I already have all the available space taken (three sessions saved), I don't want to overwrite one of the sessions that works just fine with a trial session that may not work.

Thank you for your help.

Alex

So sorry for the short answer. It was late and I was in a hurry.  But it should do just fine assuming everything is set properly. I know mine works but the condition mine worked in involved only one TIU and two remotes.

I am involved in setting up two TIUs and will use this feature in the near future.

Let us know how it works out for you! BTW you are in then St. Louis area correct? I'm in St. James just down I-44 a bit.

PS... I also hate to have to lose a good recording session but you'll end up with better ones in the long run. Sometimes I go by a script as to what I want to happen when. Especially when if you screw up the recording 20 minutes in and have to start over!!!!
