Closing of Talbots Toyland in San Mateo

Talbots which stocked Lionel and Marklin trains will be closing in the next month after 66 years in business. At one time the store displayed a Lionel layout. The tech industry has markedly changed the San Francisco Bay Area. I am glad I grew up here in the time I did. I was a frequent visitor and customer in the store.
